This story reminds me of one of those allover the place,family struggling, parents fighting to get money, and children stuck in the middle type stories.
I think this book shows the hardships of life and how certain people work through them, I have realized that the parents in this novel have never saved money. Right when they get a pay check they go out to dinner and spend it all. I think they could handle their money a different way and have a easier life.
I agree with Rachel. I believe that the Walls family life could have been a lot different if they chose to send there money wisely, not to move around so much and not to abuse alcohol the way the parents did. Its up to the kids to support themselves. Its your choice how to live your life.
